Start with the corner bakery
The queue at the corner bakery opens before seven and is gone by half past eight. Order the seeded rye and a cheese roll, and ask for the coffee in a paper cup if you want to eat on the move.
Sit down at the covered market
The market hall has two counters that serve breakfast at a long shared table. It is loud, friendly and cheaper than any hotel buffet.
A slower option on Sundays
On Sundays most bakeries close early. The café by the river opens at nine and serves eggs until noon.
